Vintage Rock T'sTease...

We just got back from a huge buying trip, and are now busy working around the clock to get the shop loaded with all our fab new Spring/Summer finds. Whilst on our travels we scored a great collection of vintage T-shirts, including some awesome, paper-thin rock tees from the 70's & 80's! Woo hoo....Shout it from the rooftops, Mad Men is back! It's undeniable Don Draper has restored some much needed sartorial sharpness to men's fashion in recent years, and barley a week goes by at the shop without some sort of Mad Men reference.

With Spring in the air, we've got traveling, road trips and outdoors activities on the brain, and that's reflected in our new displays at the shop....

U.S. Army field jackets, duffel bags and shirts, vintage safari hat, light-up vintage globe, globe bookends & 1930's world atlas for a well-traveled military look

Fishing tackle, bandana and south-west prints paired with canvas hunting & field jackets, rugged boots & shoes fill this fishing & camping inspired display...

Vintage Americana and outdoors wear and imagery has dominated fashion in recent years.

1960's made in India tie-dye tunics, 1950's bird print bathing suits and box purses litter the shelves on the ladies half of the store.

Vintage beach mats, drinking glass carousels, Leopard print swimsuits, wicker handbags and a YSL Rive Gauche silk top transport us to the French Riviera, and get us in the mood for the season to come...

Topical Tropical Trends for Spring/Summer 2012

Spring is definitely in the air early this year, hell it's 60F today and still only February! It's got us excited about all the awesome threads we've been stashing away over the last few months! We'll be posting lots of great trends and finds over the next weeks, and we have already started to load up the shop with some brighter and lighter treasures!

The designers have been loving the tropical floral, neon and abstract prints, and so have we, and it looks like the Spring & Summer will be dominated by these bold and colorful looks.

AMT Vintage Showroom NOW OPEN by Appointment!

Last Friday saw the soft opening of our long-time-in-the-making Vintage Showroom! We are thrilled with the early response, and happy to announce we are now making appointments there so you can view our higher-end vintage collection Mon-Fri. We will also be working on an online catalog in the coming weeks and moths for those of you unable to visit the space in person!

Ladies can expect to find those sought-after vintage designer gems from the likes of Chanel, Comme Des Garcons, YSL, Lanvin, Valentino, along with equally desirable boutique and couture gowns, dresses, separates & accessories! We also have a healthy selection of fragile early treasures from the late 1800's through the 1930's, some great 1920's-60's swimwear, not to mention Deadstock eyeglass frames & Sunglasses from the 50's & 60's.

Our smaller Mens collection is filled with special pieces none the less, and focuses on one-of-a-kind satin jackets, early formal wear, rock tees, antique & vintage military/band jackets, sports & knitwear, and other oddities like engineer goggles & glasses, vintage Ray-bans etc. We will be adding to the collections frequently, striving to keep everything as fresh as the store on Grove Street!
